DIY: Crochet Frilly Socks.

I've been wanting a pair of frilly socks for the spring/summer days wear with my oxfords and other lovely shoes. I've seen this created on numerous other sites and I truly wanted to attempt this in my own way!
Socks (bought at Wal-mart for 97 cents oh yeah)
Scissors
Crochet thread
B/1-2.25MM
(Not Shown)
Needle and thread
For the crochet band: (cream socks)
Row 1: Chain 60
Row 2: Single crochet row
Row 3: Slip stitch row
Row 4: Chain 4, skip 3 chains, chain 4, skip 3 chains (repeat)
Tie knot and cut.

For the pink socks:
Same instructions for the cream socks
Except:
Row 5: 3 DC popcorn into the chain

Once finished the crochet band, to sew, you might have to stretch elastic of the sock as you sew so that the socks stretch when you put them on!
