HandMade: The 'Cross My Heart' Crocheted Sweater.

My very first crocheted sweater came in about 4 days. I made it up as I went, had a little idea and crocheted it up! I love wearing grey in the Fall, so the main color was a no-brainer and the burgundy wine like color of yarn just had to be implemented with this sweater (along the sleeve trim, bottom of the sweater as well as the heart.) 
The idea came about with the idea of crocheting a sweater and adding  a handful of little hearts, but I felt like a big heart suited it a bit better. That idea with the little hearts is very much set for another project for the future! There is room for improvement, I know with every project there is something to learn, mistakes to be made and I know that it all helps me grow as a crocheter. A student of the art form. :) In my notebook of ideas, there is a nice amount of ideas surrounding sweaters, cardigans and shawls that I have written out and after this first attempt, I am entirely ready to conquer them all!
