DIY: How To Crochet A Flower Headband// Free Pattern!

Hello there! I've been wanting to create something super bright and colorful to celebrate the new Spring Season. When the idea of this crochet flower headband drifted into my mind and I knew I had to create it using only scrap yarn!
Ingredients:    
Crochet Hook>> G/6-4.25MM
Scissors
Scrap Yarn used>>Less than half a Skein of Hot Pink/White/Yellow/Teal/Orange/Green/Light Green (Caron Simply Soft Yarn)

Stitch guide 

HDC= half double crochet  
SS= slip stitch
ST(S)= stitch(es)
CH= chain

R[number]= Row
How to create the Flowers
[I made approximately 24 flowers to create the headband.]
Using the White Yarn.
CH 3
Connect the first ST to the very Last ST, to create a small circle
SS
CH1
YO, Insert hook into the hole, HDC 6 times into the hole,
Connect the first ST to the very Last ST.
Next,  Using your a selected color yarn.
Insert hook and CH 3
R1: *HDC into the first ST, CH 3 and HDC into the following ST, CH 3...[This technique will be repeated around the entire crocheted piece.] SS at the very end to connect, cut strand off to sew in remaining yarn.
Connecting the flowers
Next, once all flowers are complete.
Using the white yarn to thread [with the yarn needle] less than half an yarn.
Sew the back of the flowers together, by their petals.
Connecting them one by one.
