R18-R20: (Note: For each of these Rows, you will decrease by 1 ST.) DC into the first ST, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, DC into the following ST, CH 1....(*Repeat method until the end of the Row, for the last Row (20) SS to complete the Row.)

Step 3
Connecting the straps & the sides of the top for the armholes.

You will sew both of the tops by the Straps.  (*Use photo above and below for reference!)

Next, you will sew the sides of the top, for 14 STS only to form the armhole/sleeves of the top. (*Use photo below for reference.)

 Step 4
For a finishing technique for the top. Insert hook into the open neckline of the top to begin the finishing look.

  2. Hi, I am fairly new to crochet, so this may be obvious- but it looks like there should be some slip stitching on rows 17-20 to make the straps. It says the rows will decrease, but the pattern is the same as the body. I may just be a confused beginner, but any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
