DIY: How To Crochet A Tank Dress.

Hello there! I was inspired by this simple tank top, I wanted to figure out a way to make it a bit more interesting and creative to wear, so I decided to create a fun project out of it!
Ingredients:
Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.50MM

Craft Scissors
Yarn Sewing Needle
Yarn used>>1 Skein Orange/Cream (Red Heart Super Saver Yarn) Medium 4

Tank top
Needle and thread (not shown
Elastic band 1cm & safety pin

Size Small/Medium

Stitch guide:

HDC= half double crochet
DC= double crochet
SC= single crochet
SS= slip stitch
ST(S)= stitch(es)
CH= chain

R[number]= Row
Measure the bottom circumference of your tank.
Mine measured out to 26 inches, for a US Women's Size Small.
So you will want to match your Chains to the amount of the circumference of your tank.
I Chained the approximate amount of STS to equal to 26 inches.

Using your matching color or whichever yarn of your choice.
CH 87
R1: SC the entire Row, into All of the STS, connect the last ST to the very first ST,
R2: HDC the entire Row, into All of the STS, when complete, you will stop HERE.
To sew these two Rows, unto the top of the tank.
You will be sewing from through the seams of the SC of Row 1.
Once the sewing is complete.
You will continue to start Row 3:

R3: DC into the following 4 STS, *and into the 5 ST, DC two times into the 5th ST, DC into the following 4 STS...[*Repeat method until the end of the Row, connect the last ST to the very first ST.]
R4-R10: DC all of the Rows entirely, into All of the STS, for all of the Rows, connect the last ST to the very first ST after each Row. After Row 10, SS to end the Row.

Switch yarn colors here. Insert hook into the previous Row.
R11-R16: DC all of the Rows entirely, into All of the STS, for all of the Rows, connect the last ST to the very first ST after each Row.

R17: SC the entire Row, into All of the STS, at the end of the Row, SS to complete Row.
