dc=double crochet
ch=chain
tr=treble crochet

I usually use a N9.00MM hook for my hats.
Measure the desired length of the opening of the hat by your preference, if it's for you using a measuring tape.
row 1. Chain the circumference of your head, SC the first row.
row 2. DC the second row
row 3-15 (depending on how you desire the size.) Choose your own technique, for this particular hat, I selected,
the TR,
You can go further depending on how what size you desire the hat to be.
At the last row. DC and skip every other stitch, once you close in on the hat, SC the last final stitch.
Tie the yarn and pull the yarn through the other side, underneath hat.
Cut yarn and then you are done.
