DIY: How To Crochet A Fall Simple and Easy Hat.

Hello there! Hope you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend! I had created this crochet hat pattern to share for the Autumn season. A simple and easy pattern that you can recreate in numerous colors  and a perfect gift for a loved one!


Ingredients:   

Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.50MM 
Craft Scissors  
Yarn Sewing Needle
Scrap Yarn used>>Red Heart Super Saver



  Stitch guide:   


HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// DC=double crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain R[number]= Row
CH 35 (Chain the circumference of your head, if you want the hat to be a bit loose/slouchy add a few more chains to the mix!)
Connect the last ST to the very first ST
RND1-RND4: HDC into the first ST and into all of the STS for All of the Rows, at the end of each Row, SS to connect and to continue work.
RND5: HDC into the first ST, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following ST, HDC into the following ST, CH 1, Skip 1 ST and HDC into the following ST..[*Repeat this method until the very end of the Row, SS to connect and to continue work.]
RND6-RND9: HDC into the first ST, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following open Space, HDC into the following ST, CH 1, Skip 1 ST and HDC into the following open..[*Repeat this method until the very end of the Row, SS to connect and to continue work.] [See photo reference from Left ABOVE]
RND10-RND13: Decrease every other ST, by HDC.// HDC into first ST, YO hook, under following space, YO and pull yarn under, immediately place hook under following space, YO and pull all strands on the hook through..[[*Repeat this method until the very end of all of the Rows, SS to connect and to continue work until you complete the decrease, SS to complete work [Row 13].]
