DIY: How To Crochet A Neck Scarf // Free Crochet Pattern.

Hello there! Happy Tuesday to you! I've been inspired by whimsical crochet accessory pieces to add to my wardrobe and this crochet neck scarf was the tip of the iceberg!
Ingredients:    
Crochet Hook>> H/8 5.00MM  Craft Scissors   Yarn Sewing Needle
  Yarn used>>Half a Skein [Lion Brand Yarn] Medium 4


  Stitch guide:    HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// DC=double crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain RND[number]= Round
Cable Stitch Technique: FPHDC // BPHDC 
CH 14
R1-R3: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, turn work after completed row.
R4: HDC into the first 5 STS, CH 3, Skip 3 STS, HDC the remaining 5 STS, turn work after completing Row.
R5: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, turn work after completed row.
R6: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] turn work after completed row.
R7: HDC into the first 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the last once.
R8: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, turn work after completed row.
R9: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] turn work after completed row.
R10: HDC into the first 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the last once.
R11: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, turn work after completed row.
R12: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] turn work after completed row.
R13: HDC into the first 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the last once.

R28: HDC into the first 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the last once.
R29: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, turn work after completed row.
R30: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] turn work after completed row.
R31: HDC into the first 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the last once.
R32: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, turn work after completed row.
R33: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] turn work after completed row.
R34: HDC into the first 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following 2 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the last once.
 R35-R38: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, turn work after completed row. 
 R39: [To create the scalloped look] *HDC into the first ST 3 times, SS into the following ST, next, HDC into the first ST 3 times, SS into the following ST...[*Repeat method until the very end of the Row, SS to complete work.]

Finishing Technique
SC BOTH the sides of the scarf only once and SS to complete work.
