DIY // Crochet Drawstring Striped Skirt // Free Crochet Pattern!

Hello there! I hope you are having a lovely day! Today I am sharing a free crochet pattern for this Summer inspired striped drawstring skirt!

 Ingredients:  
Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.00MM
Craft Scissors
Yarn Sewing Needle
Yarn used>>( 4) colors -Half a Skein for All/ Red Heart Super Saver "Scrap Yarn" /Medium 4
Thread and Sewing Needle

Stitch guide:  
HDC= half double crochet  
SC= single crochet
SS= slip stitch
ST(S)= stitch(es)
CH= chain

RND= Round

Small/Medium
[You will be creating the skirt in rounds, counting turning chains.
I measured my hipline to approximately [with a bit of room] to 85 STS.Small/Medium: CH 85 // 38 inches Width // 16 inches Length

Large/Extra Large: CH 105

 Ingredients:

                                                           Creating the drawstring

 CH 85
You will insert the string throughout the open spaces created from Round 29.                                                              

                                                       Creating the straps
Insert your until the side of the bag about ( 7.5 inches apart) you will connect to the adjacent siding by using your yarn sewing needle at the end of the row.
HDC into the 3 STS on the side, turn work to start Row 1.
Row 1- Row 58: HDC into all of the STS for All of the rows. At end of row, SS and connect to the other side.             

                                                           Adding Pom Poms
I used my Pom Pom maker to create two Pom Poms on both sides. (Round 18)
As well as two for the drawstring detailing! In which I used the yarn sewing needle to secure in place.

DIY // Scrap Yarn // Off The Shoulder, Crochet Shawl.

Hello There! Hope you are having a lovely day! I was inspired by my scrap yarn that I recreated to
appear like "Caron Cakes" to crochet this shawl. At first, I had a completely different design, but
it did not come out anywhere near how I wanted so I scrapped it to construct this shawl! 

Ingredients: 
Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.00MM

Yarn used>>1 Skein/ Caron Simply Soft "Scrap Yarn" /Medium 4
Thread and Sewing Needle
