The Crochet Life: Back To It + Crochet Crown.

Hello there! I have returned from a small staycation where I rested it a bit and allowed my hands a bit of time off. It's always good thing to do for yourself. I must say, it was quite a relaxing moment and very, very necessary one as well! Though I will be moving in a few weeks, but I am more than entirely excited and ready to create crochet handmade home goods for my place!

Also, I have been wanting to create a crochet crown for quite awhile now and I've finally got to it! I found a video tutorial [found here] which will create the crown that I am wearing. It's entirely whimsical and I couldn't help, but feel the fantasy element of donning such an item. Hope you make one too!

What I Wore: There Is No Place Like Home.

Hello There! I must say, I feel like Dorothy in this dress sans the ruby slippers of course! There is nothing I adore more than a gingham pattern, and to have it set so lovely upon a dress, I truthfully couldn't ask for more. Plus, it was under 20 buckaroos so uh yeah! Well I could, if only it had pockets! These shoes, I fell in love with them the moment my eyes set their sights upon them. They hold such a vintage-y feel, with the bows and the slight, but not quite kitten heel to them, I simply had no other choice, but to bring them home to live with me!

Onward to the crochet side of things, I am working on an idea that sprung from my crown and I swiftly created it within a handful of days. It's part of a set of collection that I would like to explore one day, I just couldn't help myself, I had to make and I can't wait to share it!

A Bit Of Life: Live For Today:

Hello there! I wanted to share a bit of my life, so here I am sharing a brief outing my fella and I went on! We decided to go out and antique browsing, although, it was pretty darn hot walking around, (it's Texas so I mean big surprise lol) and I took some snaps on my phone and also, on my film camera which hasn't been developed yet! Here are a few shots of the outing and the super cool finds, we discovered! Oh and side note, I finished my promo video, so hopefully I will b e posting it tomorrow!
