On My Hook.

The project I am currently working on, is one I have been putting off for a bit, going back and forth upon, to create other projects that have peaked my interest. I'm attempting to recreate the crochet shorts I made a few years back. With the pattern I created years ago, I'm planning to experiment upon it and see how I can recreate it. I'm hoping it comes out how I am picturing it, if not, it's back to the redrawing board! Or hopefully something new can blossom from the idea, which at times I found a lot more inspiring than the planned out ones.
Now I'm off to crochet!

What's On My Hook.

What's on my Hook? This week, I am back to the graphic side of things, being heavily influenced by one of my favorite tv series. I just had to share my adoration for it by creating something handmade entirely inspired by it. It's truly an awesome feeling when you create an item and can proudly show off something that brings you a bit of happiness.

What's On My Hook?

What's on my Hook? Yeah I'm back to creating patterned tops this week! I'm super excited to start on this new one, it's from one of my favorite movies. Truly inspired me to show my love for it in the form of crochet which is the main reason why I love making these crochet graphic tops. I love being able to exhibit my adoration for these genres in an art form of sorts.

Using four different colors of yarn and following a design pattern for the main image, collected onto my phone, I am glancing at the sketch almost every stitch. Quite elated to show to the finished product off, once it all comes together that is!

What's On My Hook?

What's on my Hook? Lately, I've been on a pattern frenzy, I have a boat load much like the fox sweater I created just lined up on the side. So this is my next adventure, I'm might not going to spill exactly what it is or where it is from, but I am more than excited right now, to see it coming along! Utilizing both of these colors, both black and yellow, both from Red Heart, these two yarns combined are fashioning a project that will hopefully be successful!

Between the times of creating this project, I have been making some projects that I am going to list on my Etsy, from patterns to handmade goods. Just waiting for a little bit of time, so I can compose everything in its' entirety!

What's On My Hook?

So what's on my hook?  This past week, up to now, I have been working on a chunky grandma cardigan.
Heavily inspired by numerous heavy sweaters and cardigans spotted about while thrifting. I chose deep sage yarn by Caron Simply Soft. Actually, the project would have been completed sooner; however, I ended up running out of yarn! I used up one big bundle and found myself having to purchase another to complete it! The cardigan should be ready by next week and I am quite elated to style/shoot and even more so, wear it!
I hope your project(s) are going well!

HandMade: The Crochet Everyday Travel Bag.

Hello there! With having to work, being everyday normal life busy bee, at times, well many times, I take my wip crochet projects with me wherever I go. Usually work on it during a break in the day or honestly, if I am stuck in traffic for a good amount of time which is pretty normal here in Houston. Normally, I take reusable shopping bags and stuff them with my current projects, but I was truly wanting a bag that reflected a craft that I adore. So I decided to whip up this bag to carry my smaller wip projects in! It was super easy to make and I love the color combo choice! Definitely want to make more in different colors, for the seasons (and maybe to match everyday outfits..maybe!) One thing, I wanted to make along with this bag, was to crochet a hook case for it and sew it into the side of the bag! Though it will be something I will crochet up quite soon! Check my instagram for casual crochet updates as well!
