DIY // Free Crochet Pattern // Crochet Granny Squared Open Headband.

Hello there! I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Here is a completely free and easy crochet headband that was created with Spring in mind!

Ingredients:    
Crochet Hook>> H/8 5.00MM  Craft Scissors   Yarn Sewing Needle
Yarn used>>1 Skein//Red Heart "Gumdrop" ] Medium 4 // Less than 120 yards
Stitch guide:    HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// DC=double crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain R[number]= Row

CH 3, SS to connect.

Creating the granny square.

RND1: CH 5, YO insert hook into the middle of the connect circle of CH 3.
DC into the circle, CH 2 [Repeat this action 6 more times for a total of 8 Double Crochet's including the starting CH 5. SS at the end of the first Round.
RND2: CH 5, DC again into the same ST [for the corners] CH 2, skip 2 STS, DC into the following ST, CH 2, Skip 2 STS, DC into the following ST, CH 2, Skip 2 STS, DC into the next ST, CH 2, DC again into the same ST [for the corners] CH 2, skip 2 STS, DC into the following ST, CH 2, Skip 2 STS, DC into the following ST, CH 2, Skip 2 STS, DC into the next ST, CH 2, DC again into the same ST [for the corners] CH 2, skip 2 STS, DC into the following ST, CH 2, Skip 2 STS, DC into the following ST,CH 2 and SS.

RND3-RND24: [Insert hook into the corner of the granny square.] CH 5, skip 2 STS, DC into the following, CH 2 Skip 2 STS, DC into the next ST, CH 2, Skip 2 STS, DC into the following, CH 2 Skip 2 STS, DC into the next ST, turn work and repeat method for all of the Round. At the final Round [24] SS to complete final work. 

Next, cut a strand of yarn and using your yarn sewing needle connect Round 24 to the granny square.
