Hello there! These bib/overall dresses are truly becoming my uniform this summer. So ridiculously comfy and it's entirely too much fun being able to mix patterns together, which I am all about. Exhibiting your character with the use of clothes is quite a little glimpse of your identity and I admire that representation.
This year is a year of comfort as well as expressing myself within the little things that I love!
Until next time!

What I Wore: Just A Manic Monday.

Oh it's Monday and I spent the day, well the morning half, attempting to develop a roll of film I've had for quite awhile. The usual place I go to, their machine wasn't working so they sent me to another place and they don't develop film anymore, so they sent me to another place which stated the same. Kind of bummed me out a bit, y'know? I truly wish both of those worlds could co exist and utilizing film wasn't such a thing of the past. Especially since it's so magical and all, to me that is.
Nevertheless, the morning was saved by the best of friends, who I had not seen in quite awhile due to school and work, life stuff.. (This little lady) We had a super healthy and delicious breakfast while watching The Hobbit, (her first time, my 164654898 time watching it!) Fun catching up talks and ridiculous laughter ensued which is always the best medicine.
To the outfit we go! The dress romper, is actually not my size, it's two sizes too big, but I have such a grand adoration for these dress that I figured out a way to sew it down to my size. I'm a lover of the mixture, clashing of patterns and I feel this outfit casually and entirely represents my style in the most fun of ways!
Have a wonderful Monday and rest of the week! ashlee elle.

What We Wore: A Merry Birthday!
We were quite thankful it didn't rain, as we strolled from store to store browsing through antiques and trying on lots of vintage dresses! The heat definitely took the place of rain and I did not mind that (well I did a little!) Though we left a lot of great items behind, I am entirely sure we will run into more, that's for sure!
What I Wore:
romper>> platos closet/forever 21
belt>> off another dress
lacy socks>> jcpenny
boots>> soda/ross
beret>> walmart
sunglasses>> borrowed from cece
bag>> from rue 21
jean jacket>> target
ring>> shasa
A few highlights from dressing room to dressing room, to seeing 'interesting' language inscribed on the pavement to fancy schmancy chandliers in some of the thrift stores, it was a lovely time!
Cece took my outfit photos! Click here for her outfit post!
I hope you all have a lovely week!

What I Wore: Be A Little Free.
Hello there! I am trying to get the wear out of my light colored summery threads before Fall hits and they have to hibernate for a few months, oh boo! Anywho, this dress is super comfy and I hold such a weakness for peter pan colors especially when they emulate a lacy/crochet look. I wore this look to work, wanted to feel a bit girly and whimsy, but a bit laid back hence the flats!

Dear Madeline,
Dress: Ross- Lapis
Tights: Target- Harajuku Girl Tights
Boots: Rue 21
I have to say this dress was a steal, $8! Regular price! Gee whiz, I should never question why I have so many clothes. I couldn't pass up this dress for anything, for one it is donned with polka dots, so it only seemed fitting that when I did pair it up with tights, smaller polka dots was a quite the match! Plus this outfit makes me feel like Madeline, I even have her hat (not shown here!)
