DIY: Studded Oxfords.

A quick and easy diy, I bought these oxfords from H&M and bought thumbtacks from the office department at Walmart for about a dollar and change. They're as close as I am getting to creepers so I'm really excited to wear them out for a sweet punkish vibe!

tights: betsey johnson
shoes: seychelles
paris necklace: charming charlie's

Why yes, another LC dress, can't seem to tear myself away from her clothing line. Must be something that is luring me to want to simply purchase every single article of clothing I find in Kohls! The best part about this dress is the ruffles set on the bottom of the dress, though I wish it had pocket's, I can entirely get over it!

DIY: Crochet Frilly Socks.

I've been wanting a pair of frilly socks for the spring/summer days wear with my oxfords and other lovely shoes. I've seen this created on numerous other sites and I truly wanted to attempt this in my own way!
Socks (bought at Wal-mart for 97 cents oh yeah)
Scissors
Crochet thread
B/1-2.25MM
(Not Shown)
Needle and thread
For the crochet band: (cream socks)
Row 1: Chain 60
Row 2: Single crochet row
Row 3: Slip stitch row
Row 4: Chain 4, skip 3 chains, chain 4, skip 3 chains (repeat)
Tie knot and cut.

For the pink socks:
Same instructions for the cream socks
Except:
Row 5: 3 DC popcorn into the chain

Once finished the crochet band, to sew, you might have to stretch elastic of the sock as you sew so that the socks stretch when you put them on!

The Lacy Crochet Bow.

Made this bow, light and airy for the summer, and found this charm around my crafts box and decided to add it to the bow for a little vintage feel! For this bow I used ivory crochet thread and a B/1-2.25 MM hook, hot glue gun and a barrette clip!

The Crochet Mini Skirt.

I crocheted this mini-skirt, I was originally going to make another pair of crochet shorts, however, I decided to switch it up and made this skirt instead using Caron Simply Soft yarn. I just wear biker shorts underneath with the skirt and I just might put up a tutorial, Might!

Until next time!

Where Are You Hiding?

dress: via ross
belt: from another dress
tights: via Jcpenny's
shoes:  bcbg
antler necklace: via kohls
bracelet and rings: jewelry dollar store
headband: borrowed necklace

I've been working on more diy's. I'm thankful I have the inspiration surrounding me, even though my camera lens is entirely flunking out on me and it's entirely bumming me out. Time for a new lens, word to the wise, never purchase a Tamron lens even if it is gifted to you!
Until next time,

DIY: The Crochet Studded Bracelet.

Wanting to try out crocheting a bracelet for myself, but with a funky twist, by adding the studs. Plus I love experimenting with diy's, winging it as you go so I created this pattern, utilizing these colors as something I would favor if I had truly caught my eye in a store.
The Ingredients:
Scissors
I used beading cords as my thread (found at Walmart for a dollar and change)
Studs
B/1-2.25MM Crochet Hook
*Measure your wrist in order to accommodate the accurate size for your bracelet.
**When switching from yarn, leave 3/4 of yarn from cutting.

Row 1: Chain 50 with yellow yarn, knot and cut.
Row 2: Add green yarn to attach SC, knot  and cut.
Row 3-4: DC pink yarn, knot and cut.
Row 5: SC yellow yarn, knot and cut.
Row 6: SC green yarn
Row 7: Slip stitch yellow yarn, knot and cut.

For the ends:
When finished, with the extra yarn**.
Braid both sides of the bracelet so that you can tie the ends together.

For the studs:
All you have to do is apply the studs to the main section, which would be the pink yarn and space it as you desire.
