What I Wore + Crochet Project Update.

Hello there! It's the middle of the week  and I am truly wishing it was the weekend already, but alas, it'll be here soon enough! Today I wore one of my favorite blazers, it's donned in flowers and I have had it for over four years now. It actually had shoulder pads in them, but I cut them out, but I really wasn't feeling the 80's look on me! The dress is from Rue 21, which I purchased for only $8! What a find, I know for a fact that I can always walk into that store and find an item that I will truly fall for and priced so reasonably too! Overall, the week has had its' little currents, but hey, that's life, just gonna ride the waves! Hope your week is going along swimmingly! ;)

Crochet Update! Onto the side of Crochet, I finished my crocheted cape, but it's been raining for a few days and I haven't had the opportunity to snap a proper shot of it. Though it will be blogged about before the end of the week! Plus, I finally shot a video for my Dream In Vintage Vlog and it's a DIY featuring Pom Poms, can't wait to edit it and get it up! I have started another project, of course it's geared towards the Fall times, it's entirely an experimental project with no pattern, so perhaps I'll share it as well!

What I Wore: Just Some Time.

Hello there! Here is another LC by Lauren Conrad dress, that I am simply over the moon for! Super comfy and the top of the dress is truly mesmerizing, such a fan. Plus, I bought it on a pretty darn good sale so that always a plus in my book! I paired the dress with knee highs and a pair of wedges from Target for a bit of a fun and flirty feel.
What is on my crochet hook: Onto the crochet side, I've been working away on some fun crochet goodies that I am either going to DIY or simply share what I have made. Probably a bit of both. Since Fall is coming around the corner so swiftly all I want to crochet nowadays is geared towards Fall. I have to remind myself I don't live on the East Coast anymore, it's Texas and they're barely any actual seasons here. Oh well!

What I Wore: Closer To Closer.

Hello there! 2 More days to go until I am on vacation and I am quite excited about relaxing, enjoying the East Coast weather and not having to get up early to go to work. Oh and the main reason, to see my family back home! I might create a vacation outfit post; however, I haven't even started to pack so who knows how that will turn out just yet! Onto the outfit, I love this dress, I have quite a thing for denim/chambray dresses this summer and I felt like this one needed something extra. So I threw on a sleeveless lacy blouse underneath it for a little touch of femininity to it!

Oh and on the crochet side of things, I am working on a handful of crochet bow belts, some with studs, some with charms, some patterned and some classic style! Will be placing them into my shoppe as well! I'm pretty elated with how they are coming out so far and I plan to update more information and posts with it, most likely when I return from my vacation!

Along The Way: A Collective Haul.

Hello there! I haven't created a haul in awhile, most likely because I usually pick up things here and there never in a mass amount at one time. That method I choose truly doesn't hurt the wallet too much and it's always nice to have some extra cash, just in case you see that one of a kind item that you cannot help, but want. Perhaps I'll create some feature hauls, for craft stores, yarn hauls and so forth for the future. Missing a few vintage finds, but I think I'll also make a special post for that. So here is a brief collection of items and clothing that I have purchased within the last time I wrote a haul post to now. Been a few months, but here goes!
Shorts! All of a sudden I have found the courage within myself to brave my legs to the world. I have never been truly into them because I wasn't the hugest fan of my legs, but now I could truly careless. It's Texas, it's hot and I want to try something new and something challenging for my own good! These shorts are from Rue 21 and Target Girls section.
More shorts! These lacy shorts and the birdy ones are from Shasa and Ross! Both on sale of course!
And my dress collection grows and grows! The body con floral dress on the left is Shasa, a little out of character for me, usually stick to dresses that have a bit of swing to them, but hey, I want to try something different. The lacy teal-ish dress is from Marshall's. I have three dresses in three different styles though this same color, just a tad obsessed are we? Onto the polka dot dress, from Kohls from Lauren Conrad. One of my favorite brands to wear, truly love almost everything they roll out with!
More dresses! I have been looking for a white dress to replace all of the ones I have donated. I came across this dress at Marshall's on clearance and it was perfect. The best part of it was the little skulls, love the mixture of feminine and edgy set together so delicately.
This dress is from Shasa. Fell in love with the sequin peter pan collar and the color of the dress. Best part, it was only ten bucks!
Truly love this goldish silverish glittery flats, I'd love to pair them with an outfit super casual, just to add a bit of a mash up to the mix.
Target. 5 bucks. Studs. Pink. Wedge. A great find seeing that I am not a huge sandal fan, but I mean for this price and with my favorite embellishment featuring studs, quite a perfect match.
Found both of these belts for $1, though the heart belt, my bestie, showed me her super cute heart belt that she had purchased elsewhere and I just so happened to browse through Shasa's clearance section and bam! There it was, all on it's own.  Crazy.
Also, at that Shasa, there was a lot of jewelry so a buck. So I  snatched all of these awesome pieces up! The other loose ones are also a dollar, but from a beauty shop!
One of my favorites!

Headbands! Finally found a cat ear headband and it's in animal print! It's from Shasa. The spike and hello kitty one, they are both from a beauty shop as well.
Some non-clothing pick ups. I collect journals and teapots, teacups and all that jazz. Found this foxy journal at Ross, which is where I find a lot of my journal finds. This tea pot, I found at Goodwill and it's something I will most definitely treasure.

What I Wore: Lively Child.

Hello there! I hope all is well! Next week, I will be going on a holiday (vacation) back home for a week and it has influenced a crochet project, which truly works for everyday usage. Also, there is another smaller wip that I have in mind as well and will be sharing that quite soon! Regarding this lively floral dress, I bought it at Plato's Closet, sold a few shirts for it and it reminded me of sunflowers. Sunflowers are my favorite flower and I have been wanting to find a dress with them donned on them! My wedges just so happened to match the dress perfectly, usually I'm not a fan of super coordinating my outfits; however, I felt it just suited each other quite right!

What I Wore: Portions For Foxes.

Hello there! I have been a busy bee attempting to truly follow my word on putting some goods on Etsy and getting my other side projects together. Creating is such an important aspect in my life and I wholeheartedly love sharing that adoration with whomever might glance its way! Hopefully, I can have a full update on that project as well as the other projects! Now to this dress, it's another LC by Lauren Conrad dress and I am entirely over the moon for it. I want to collect them all and wear them forever!
