What I Wore: For What It's Worth.

Hello there,  the weather has been quite the loveliest, though with a bit of chill, but not too much where I'm shivering to bits, it's just the right amount. Though this week is sure to bring some frost on your car window in the morning and the need for super layering. A cold front is soon to be here in Texas. So this outfit fits perfectly with the current environment (until later this week!) This dress, floral which I'm quite a sucker for fading it into the Fall, I found it at Rue21 for about 8 bucks! Love that place, plus you get to use coupons which is always a yes in my book. I layered the dress with a blouse as well as a loose cardigan (not shown) to fight the little breeze.

What I Wore: Almost There.

Hello there! This outfit is from last last week, when Cece and had a day of fun and hanging out I've been a bit behind with the outfit posts! Oh better late than never! I hope your weekend was quite lovely, I had quite  a busy week,  it was my niece's first birthday and we spent all day decorating and cooking. I also, ended up  fighting a tiny little cold cold, which put the projects I had going on a bit behind, but it's all right. That's life for ya!

The cape I'm wearing here, the cape, goodness, I am entirely such a smitten kitten all over it. It was more than what I usually pay for anything. (Which isn't saying much because I like everything to be under 10 bucks. :p ) Though for the price, it was worth every penny and if I could find it in another color, I would get them all.

What I Wore: A Birthday Bird.

Hello there! This outfit is from this week, when Cece and I met up to eat, drink and be quite merry, taking photos and doing a tiny bit of shopping. I'm truly loving the weather in the morning, though by mid afternoon it's quite the opposite, oh how I wish it would stay! Either way, I'm moving forward with my light fall outfits. Including finally pulling out my velvet boots and my thrifted velvet brocade purse. Such a sucker for everything velvet! I paired my bird sweater, I purchased in the summertime for 8 bucks and a faux leather skirt from Target (kids section) for 6 dollars. I love a good deal!

Well, it's my birthday weekend and I aim to have a grand time with family and friends! Relaxing and enjoying the moments that I am quite thankful to hold. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, you deserve it. :)

What We Wore: Fun At The Carnival.

Hello, hope you had a lovely weekend. This past Sunday, Cece and I, went to a few stores looking for some pretty good deals and all and happened to come across a carnival that was there for the weekend! It was such a sweet little surprise! Also, thankfully, we stopped into Michaels', of course per my request and I found some major deals on some of my favorite bits of yarn. Let's just say I went a bit crazy and walked out there with little basket full of yarn. Though more projects to come from those purchases quite soon! :) Oh and Cece made my new banner, thank ya doll!

What I Wore: Just A Few More Steps.

Well, I'm pretty sure you've seen this dress before! The print is just ridiculously cute, you can't just pass it by. I'm trying to lightly pair my outfits together because it's not even a bit chilly here (except a little in the morning) so I'm moving in a much slower pace on the layering aspect. So I kept it simple with a airy blouse and low black socks instead of tights. Entirely wanting to add another pattern to the mix, I opted for my leopard wedges for a bit of an edge. Which is one of my favorite pairs to create when I am wear a cutesy dress, love a hard element to add complexity!

What We Wore: Venturing Out!

Hello there! It was Sunday Friend Day yesterday and Cece (look for her post too!) brought me out to a new place she had found near to where she lives and it is quite a wondrous setting for photos!  It was pretty humid yesterday and there was a lot of sporadic rain showers which almost prevented us from shooting, but thankfully the sun came out! There are a lot other parts in this area we entirely want to explore, hopefully quite soon! There a lot of photos to sift through, including a portrait set, but I'll probably set them out for another day and/or for my flickr! Hope it was a lovely Sunday for you too!
