Hello there! The weather here has been perfect for the East Coast girl I am. I finally get to wear my sweaters for more than just one day. Instead of just waking up to cold weather and by the time I get out of work, the ac is on and the layers are let go. So this constant almost normal fall weather here, puts a smile on my face! 
Anywho, I found this dress at a thrift store, I was just browsing away and was not finding much until this dress caught my eye. I love the detail of the bow on the back , but the best part was that the dress was only 3 bucks! The boots were also a grand deal, at 5 bucks from Rue 21. I loved them so much I bought another pair in a different color!

What I Wore: A Birthday Bird.

Hello there! This outfit is from this week, when Cece and I met up to eat, drink and be quite merry, taking photos and doing a tiny bit of shopping. I'm truly loving the weather in the morning, though by mid afternoon it's quite the opposite, oh how I wish it would stay! Either way, I'm moving forward with my light fall outfits. Including finally pulling out my velvet boots and my thrifted velvet brocade purse. Such a sucker for everything velvet! I paired my bird sweater, I purchased in the summertime for 8 bucks and a faux leather skirt from Target (kids section) for 6 dollars. I love a good deal!

Well, it's my birthday weekend and I aim to have a grand time with family and friends! Relaxing and enjoying the moments that I am quite thankful to hold. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, you deserve it. :)

What I Wore: Let's Get This Going!

Hello! I've had this skirt for many many years, found it in a thrift shop for about 3 bucks and I truly believe I cannot see myself ever letting it go. Such a catch! I paired it with a blouse that I purchased at Rue21 for only $8, which I'm quite thankful for finding such a deal, especially with the awesome faux leather details surrounding the collar and the cut outs on the shoulder. The shoes, I found at Plato's Closet, via Forever 21, they were also 8 bucks. The shoes have this rad animal print suede thing going on and I love it. I'm pretty sure, if I added up this entire outfit, it would come out to be under $30! Can't help it, I'm all about the deals! ;)
Anywho, this weekend is a busy shooting/work week and I am hoping it goes along quite swimmingly and I can get a bit of rest in, which is very nice to have, especially over the weekend and all.Well, I do truly hope you have a sweet weekend! :)

What I Wore: It's A Wild Ride.

Ya gotta love a vintage dress featuring various vegetables and other interesting patterns! I feel like I am channeling Ms. Frizzle from the Magic School bus and I love it! I purchased this dress, last year, whilst thrifting at Goodwill and thankfully, I can wander into the little girls' section and fit the dresses. Probably due to the fact I'm only 5"0 foot tall! Huh ironic, I should have probably ate my veggies after all.. :p 
This dress was hanging there and I immediately picked it up, tried it on and it fit perfectly! Though originally, it did have long sleeves which I cut off as well as an attached fabric belt which I also cut off. Nevertheless, this dress is a dreamboat and it's defintely one of my favorite and super fun to wear vintage dresses that I own!

What I Wore: Hello Autumn!

Such a happy gal I am, now that it is officially Autumn! This dress, I purchased whilst thrifting with Cece on her birthday, I came across this golden number and thought it felt perfect for fall. I adore floral quite a lot, so that I am elated I can wear it different versions of it throughout the seasons. It's a quite comfy piece and if it ever becomes a bit chillier here, I can layer it with a cardigan or wear it entirely with tights! I chose the burgundy boots for a bit of pop, which the color is very lightly represented in the dress as well as the knee high socks in a tan/cream color instead of a dark grey or black color. Now to enjoy salted caramel everything!
