DIY // How To Crochet Super Chunky Mittens! Free Crochet Pattern!

Hello there! I hope you had a lovely Christmas & Holiday! It's been crazy cold here in Texas, which I am quite fine with, just means I get to layer up even more crochet goods. The one item I am quite low on are Mittens! I've had a ton of this yarn, just sitting on the sidelines longing to be used and now I have finally put it to good use. With these super chunky and super cozy mittens, warmth is entirely an accomplishment with this project!
Ingredients:    
Crochet Hook>> N 9.00MM  Craft Scissors   Yarn Sewing Needle
  Yarn used>>2 Skeins [Lion Brand Quickie Rapido Yarn] Super Bulky 6 in "Tangy"

  Stitch guide:    HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// DC=double crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain RND[number]= Round

Note: You will be starting from the top of the mittens working your way to create the opening. Also, You will be working in round.
CH9
Connect the last ST to the very first ST, by SS.
RND1-RND7: HDC into all of the STS, at the end of each Round, SS to connect and continue work.
RND8: HDC into 4 STS, CH 1, Skip 1 ST and HDC the remaining Round, SS to connect and to continue work.
RND9: HDC into all of the STS, (including the skipped chain] at the end of the Round, SS to connect and continue work.
RND10-RND11: SC into all of the STS, at the end of each Round, SS to connect and at the very last Row, SS to complete work.
To create the thumb section. Next, you will insert your hook into the skipped ST, from Row 8 and begin to work in 3 Rounds of SC, SS to continue work until you hit the final 3rd Round, you will SS to complete final work.
Note: You will be repeating this method twice, with this pattern you can wear the gloves on either side of your hands!

DIY // How To Crochet Candy Cane Crochet Inspired Hat // Free Pattern!

Hello there! I love creating festive inspired crochet pieces to not only wear, but to share with all! Gotta love the Holiday's and all things inspired by everything that is in that spirit. This crochet hat was created to emulate candy cane stripes and I must say it is not only a cute Christmas acaccessory, but it is quite comfy to wear as well!
Ingredients:    
Crochet Hook>> H/8 5.00MM  Craft Scissors   Yarn Sewing Needle
  Yarn used>>2 Half a Skein [Red Heart/Craft Smart Yarn] Medium 4
Pom Pom Maker or  Tutorial 

  Stitch guide:    HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// DC=double crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain RND[number]= Round
Cable Stitch Technique: FPHDC // BPHDC 
CH 41 [Using the red yarn]
R1: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, SS to continue work.
R2: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] SS to continue work after last ST.
R3: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, SS to continue work.
 R4: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] SS to continue work after last ST.
R5: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, SS to continue work. 
R6: Alternate between FPHDC and BPHDC [respectively] SS to continue work after last ST.
Switch colors [White Yarn]
R7-R8: HDC into all of the STS for All of the Rows, SS to continue work.

Pom Pom [Optional]
 I used a pom pom maker to create the pom pom.
Here are references to create a pom pom, if you do not have a pom pom maker!
Once complete, using your yarn sewing needle/tapestry needle and a strand of yarn.
Sew the pom pom unto the very top of the hat, through the inside and through the pom pom several times for security.

HandMade // Shoppe Update: The Riding Crochet Dress Pattern.

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! This is a new weekly crochet pattern project for the Fall. Being entirely inspired by creating hoods for capes and sweaters, I thought dresses were the next obvious step! I loved the idea of combining these two attributes that I absolutely adore, [hoods and dresses] to create a project that I know I cannot wait to wear with leggings and boots this Fall!

DIY: Simple Crochet Head Band // Free Crochet Pattern!

Hello there! Happy Tuesday to you! Here is a fun and easy crochet headband that I created (for free) for the Fall. Crochet headbands are a great accessory for the changing seasons when you are making your way to comfy beanies and berets. You can never have enough of them, in almost every color!
Ingredients:    

Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.50MM 
Craft Scissors  
Yarn Sewing Needle
Scrap Yarn used>>Red Heart Super Saver

HandMade: The Honey Jumper Crochet Pattern.

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! Being such a huge fan of suspender dresses, this design was truly wanting in the wing to be created. What I absolutely love about this pattern, about this dress, is that you can truly wear it year round. It is a straight through pattern, which allows you to customize it as you go I'm a huge fan of the scalloped technique and I just love how it is represented within this dress, truly offers it such a feminine touch! Definitely a project I am personally, going to create for myself in various colors!

DIY: Strawberry Crochet Bag>> Free Crochet Pattern!

Hello there! Hope you had a lovely weekend and a wonderful start to your week! I can't help, but have Strawberry Fields forever stuck on repeat in my head as I compose this post! Though my love for fruit inspired items have extended unto the creation of this bag and I am quite elated to share this free pattern with whomever!
Ingredients:    

Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.50MM 
Craft Scissors  
Yarn Sewing Needle
Yarn used>>1 Skein from Sugar N' Cream (Colors: Red/Green/White)




  Stitch guide:   

HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// DC=double crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain R[number]= Row
Using Red Yarn
CH 3
Connect the last ST to the very first ST by SS, CH 1.
R1: HDC two times into the very first ST, then continue to HDC [only once] into the next ST, into the following ST HDC [two times] and HDC [only once] into the next ST... (**Repeat method until the end of the Row, you will SS to complete Row.)
R2: **HDC two times into the first TWO STS, then continue to HDC [only once] into the next ST [3rd ST], into the following 2 STS, HDC [two times] and HDC [only once] into the next ST... (**Repeat method until the end of the Row, you will SS to complete Row.) 
R3: **HDC two times into the first THREE STS, then continue to HDC [only once] into the next ST [4th ST], into the following ST HDC [two times] and HDC [only once] into the next ST... (**Repeat method until the end of the Row, you will SS to complete Row.)

To create the "white specks"
Photo example on the right [above]
Turn the bag inside out and cut a short strand of white yarn. You will loop the strand of white yarn (using a yarn sewing needle or a hook) around any random stitch around the bag. Tying the strand into a knot on the inside of the bag.
Using Green Yarn
Insert hook into the complete red portion of the finished crocheted piece.
R18-R21: HDC into all of the STS for ALL of the Rows into ALL of the STS, you will SS to complete work on row. Continue repeating method.
R22: **HDC into the first four STS, CH 2, Skip 2 STS, HDC into the following four STS...(**Repeat method until the end of the Row, you will SS to complete Row.)
R23: SC into all of the STS for the Rows into ALL of the STS, you will SS to complete work on row.
To create the drawstring.
CH 81
Cut and knot to secure chain.
Insert chain into the open spaces created by Row 22, to create the drawstring effect.

To create the straps.
CH 15
R1-R40: [Or however long you desire the strap to be] HDC into all of the STS for ALL of the Rows into ALL of the STS, you will SS to complete work on row. Continue repeating method until you hit the final Row. Row 40, SS to complete final work.
Next, Fold the complete crocheted piece, vertically and using your yarn sewing needle and a strand of yarn, sew the straps together.
Next, You will sew the ends of the straps to the side of using your yarn yarn sewing needle and a strand of yarn.

DIY // Free Crochet Pattern! How To Crochet A Mini Camera Tote.

Hello there! I hope you are having a nice start to your week! This design was inspired by my Polaroid camera and wanting to create a cute special little bag for it. That I can easily place in a larger tote if I'm heading to the beach or simply hanging out!
 Ingredients:    
Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.50MM 
Craft Scissors  
Yarn Sewing Needle
Yarn used>>1 Skeins of  Each from Sugar N' Cream (Colors: Yellow/White/Green/Hot Pink)

Project Details
8 inches in length 
8.5 inches in width

  Stitch guide:   
HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain R[number]= Row
Step 1
(Using green yarn)
 CH 15
R1-R6: HDC two times into the very first ST, then continue to HDC [only once] throughout the entire Row, into all STS, Until you hit the last ST where you will HDC [two times] into the Last ST, then you will
SS to complete Row and to begin working in an oval shape around. A total of 56 STS all around.

(Using white yarn)
 R7: HDC into all of the STS for ALL of the Rows into ALL of the STS, you will SS to complete work and to cut of the ending strand.
