Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! This is the second to last Summer inspired crochet project in my queue and its entirely a fave in my book. This yarn had a touch of whimsy to it, so I wanted to create a piece that would work off of that attribute. With creating a little bit of flair to the bottom of the top, it has the influence of a peplum top. The pattern is constructed utilizing basic crochet techniques to create a piece that is entirely functional and wearable all year round!

HandMade: The Eiffel Rose Crochet Top!

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! I've had this yarn in my "to make" stash for quite awhile, pondering over various designs I could create utilizing it. When the idea of of off the shoulder top with a bit of an over-sized "flair" to it, sent the process into overdrive. The project is truly a fun, easy breeze to a top that will bring such color and vivacity to any outfit! I am actually considering extending the design and creating a dress, not far from this pattern construction. It's definitely a color staple that I am quite elated to add to my crochet collection!

HandMade: The Whimsy Crochet Top! Pattern Now Available!

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! This handmade crochet top was inspired by baby doll dresses and easy breezy Spring days. I wanted to create a top that had a mixture of being form fitting as well as roomy. It's entirely a design I plan on recreating in different styles as well as colors.

What I love about this top, is that it doesn't feel heavy at all and I can entirely wear it year round. One of the main things I strive to aim for when creating items is versatility and a strong comfort level. This top owns both of those wondrous attributes and I absolutely love wearing it!

DIY: Crochet West Halter Top.

Hello there! Here is a free pattern for this crochet top I made last week thought I'd share this crochet top idea with whoever might want to experiment with it! This pattern is customized personally for my size (small), utilizing your measurements and adjust to see fit!

Ingredients:
Yarn of your choice// I used Caron Simply Soft Yarn in White
Hook size// H8-5.00MM

Crochet Abbreviations:  
SC= single crochet
HDC= half double crochet
DC= double crochet
SS= slip stitch
CH= chain   
TO= turn over
ST(S) = stitch(es)

The Band: 
CH 8
Row 1: HDC in all STS
Row 2: CH 3 Skip 1 ST, DC in next ST 
Row 3: HDC in all STS
You will repeat this alternating method until Row 22

HDC all around the crochet strip band you just crocheted.

Once completed, you will start with the bra part of the halter top.
With skipping 20 STS  (for both sides of the bra)
Row 1: HDC 15 STS
Row 2-3 : SC the entire row
Row 4: Skip 1 ST SC the entire row skip last ST
Row 5:  Skip 1 st SC the entire row 
Row 6:  SC the entire row
Row 7:  Skip 1 ST SC the entire row 
Row 8:  Skip 1 ST SC the entire row 
You will continue decreasing until you reach 1 ST.

After completing the bra part of the halter top, [Row 1] you will HDC around both of the bra parts solely.

Left: [Row 2] Once more, you will HDC around the bra part.
Right: [Row 3]  CH 3- skip  1 ST, DC  in following ST skip 1 ST, DC in the following ST (repeat this method after the CH 3) for the whole Row

Left photo: With the sewing needle, cut off a little less than half an inch of yarn to sew the band together.

Row 1: HDC the entire row around the top.

Right photo: CH 3- skip  1 ST, DC  in following ST skip 1 ST, DC in the following ST (repeat this method after the CH 3) for the whole Row

Row 3: HDC the entire Row
Row 4-5: CH 3 skip  1 ST, DC in following ST (repeat this method after the CH 3) for the whole Row
Row 6-7: CH 3- skip  1 ST, DC  in following ST skip 1 ST, DC in the following ST (repeat this method after the CH 3) for the whole Row
DC in one ST(repeat this method after the CH 3) for the whole Row
Row 8:  HDC the entire Row
Row 9-10: CH 3 skip  1 ST, DC in following ST (repeat this method after the CH 3) for the whole Row
Row 12: CH 3- skip  1 ST, DC  in following ST skip 1 ST, DC in the following ST (repeat this method after the CH 3) for the whole Row
Row 13:  CH4 skip 1, SS into the following ST  (repeat this method until the end of the Row)

Creating both of the straps, from the last ST on the (bra part) CH 44 (or how long you want the straps to be.)
