Hello there & Happy Tuesday! I thought as an early Christmas gift to whoever truly would like this pattern I posted last week, I would offer it as free pattern! I absolutely love cardigans and shrugs alike and after trying this lovely technique, spreading the adoration for such a thing should be shared with those who feel the same way! So I hope you enjoy!
Materials
1 1/2 Skeins of Red Heart Soft Yarn in Toast
H/8-5.00MM Crochet hook
Scissors
Yarn needle
Size
Small/Medium
Stitch guide
SC= single crochet
DC= double crochet
SS= slip stitch
YO= yarn over
CH= chain
Note:
*Asterik, Repeat method from asterisk symbol.
CH 110
Row 1: SC the entre Row
Rows 2-27: CH 3 skip 1 ST, into the following ST, (2nd from hook) *DC 2 times into the ST, CH1 and DC 2 times again in the same ST.
Skip 3 STS and into the 4th ST *Repeat this method (DC 2 times into the ST, CH1 and DC 2 times again into that same ST) until the end of the Row.

You should have created a rectangle.
Next, you will fold the ends of the rectangle and with your yarn needle,
with your yarn threaded. Sew the edges together. Just the edges on both sides of the rectangle. This will create your armhole.
For your armhole detailing/finishing:
You will (in between each stitch hole)
Row 1: CH 3
Skip 1 ST hole
YO 2 times into the open ST.
*CH 3
Skip 1 ST hole
YO 2 times into the open ST.
*Repeat this method until the end of the Row.
SS to connect the row. Secure, cut yarn to sew in the edges with the yarn needle
Note: You will do this for both sides of the arm holes.
Note: Once you are complete with detailing both sides.
You will utilize the same technique for the bottom of the shrug, to add a bit of length.
Row 1-2: CH 3
Skip 1 ST hole
YO 2 times into the open ST.
*CH 3
Skip 1 ST hole
YO 2 times into the open ST.
*Repeat this method until the end of the Row.
SS to connect the row. Secure, cut yarn to sew in the edges with the yarn needle

Hello there! Happy Tuesday to you. I've had this yarn in my bin for quite awhile and this design had been in my head for the same amount of time. So I thought, why not combine the two worlds to create this shoulder shrug? For one, I love shrugs, especially this one that can also be utilized as a scarf, which is the best of two worlds. Which is why I thought I'd share the free pattern for those who love a good deal!
Ingredients:
Yarn (I used Loops & Threads//Ginseng)
Scissors
Crochet hook (5MM)
Yarn sewing needle
Abbreviations:
SC=single crochet
HDC=half double crochet
SS=Slip Stitch
CH=Chain
YO=Yarn Over
Turn= Turn work around
Using a puff stitch for this pattern.

This pattern was made for a Small/Medium. You may use your personal measurements to accommodate the cowl!
Firstly, CH 50.
Turn, HDC the entire Row 1 and turn at the end of the Row.
Row 2: DC into the first ST, *skip the following ST, DC into the next ST, *Repeat from the asterisk, End of Row, Turn.
Row 3: Starting a puff stitch. [Insert hook into stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over 5 times] into the hole that the following Row 2 created, pull through all 6 loops and CH 1. You will YO 5 times into each ST for the entire Row 3. End of Row, Turn.
Row 4: Continuing with the puff stitch. [Insert hook into stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over 7 times] into the hole that the following Row 2 created, pull through all 8 loops and CH 1. You will create the puff stitch technique into each ST for the entire Row 4. End of Row, Turn.
Row 5: Continuing with the puff stitch. [Insert
hook into stitch and draw up a loop, yarn over 5 times] into the hole
that the following Row 2 created, pull through all 6 loops and CH 1. You will create the puff stitch technique into each ST for the entire Row 5. End of Row, Turn.
Row 6: DC into the first ST, *skip the following ST, DC into the next ST, *Repeat from the asterisk until the end of Row, Turn.
Row 7-8: CH 3, *YO, DC into the hole presented by Row 6, CH 1, *Repeat from the asterisk until the end of Row, Turn.
Row 9: DC into the first 4 STS, DC two times into the 5th ST, DC into the next 4 STS, *Repeat from the asterisk until the end of Row, Turn.
Row 10: HDC the entire Row, SS at the end, cutting yarn off to sew in the edges with the yarn sewing needle.
With half a bit of yarn, if you choose. Tie the yarn right around the middle section of the shrug (I simply guessed the middle) to create the bow-esque look.

The 4th of July is swiftly approaching this week and I thought I'd make this headband donning the colors of this country! The band is long enough to tie in a knot, bow or simply let it loose! You can wear it multiple ways of your choice which is always an awesome thing!
The Ingredients:
>> Scissors
>> Crochet Hook (G/6-4.25MM)
>> Sugar and Cream (red/white/blue mix)
Crochet Abbreviations:
SC= single crochet
HDC= half double crochet
DC= double crochet
SS= slip stitch
CH= chain
TO= turn over
ST(S) = stitch(es)
Start a CH of 3
Row 1: HDC the entire Row and TO
Continue HDC for Row 2 until Row 28
For Row 29: HDC two times into the first ST
HDC once in the middle (second) ST
For the 3rd ST HDC two times into it
For Row 30 to Row 40: DC into each Row
Once you hit Row 41: Reduce the STS back down to 3 STS
Row 41-69: HDC each Row
SS, cut the remaining string and sew in the edges!

This project is one that I wanted to maintain simplicity and create an item I've seen in numerous clothing stores. The technique for this crochet tank was meant to be airy and lacy in the back for a (peek a boo) feel and the front emulated a bit of that feature in the front of the tank. Wanting the front tie to be minimal and not as severe if it were a mid riff created tank, I kept the tie a bit short and sweet. I will entirely be experimenting in the future with diverse designs which is an exciting motivation to think about!

Hello there! Here is my latest WIP, from last weeks', "On My Hook." I am very excited about this dress, it's actually one of my favorite experimental designs in the dress category that I have made. Primarily, because of the neckline, I have been wanting to create some sort of intricate pattern and I just love the way it came out!
Truthfully, this dress was supposed to be all solid, all one color; however, after going to at least three different craft stores. I could not find the color at all, it was pretty ridiculous. So I decided on a whim to stripe it up and in the end, I like it a million times more than it being a solid dress. Plus, it's an experimental design so I can do what I want!

The yarn I used was Caron Simply Soft Yarn, featuring Off White/Orange.
The hook I used was a H/8-5.00MM.
The Gardenia crochet dress pattern is entirely experimental from my own pattern.

Hello there, I hope you had a lovely Tuesday! This DIY, was inspired by "on the run need" to create a little crochet traveling case when I am working on a project. Rather than carrying around my crochet hook case, that usually stays at home. I thought creating a smaller version to set in my purse, that won't take up much space, so that I use the hooks that I need for that specific project.
Ingredients: Left to Right.
>> Crochet hook/F5-3.75MM
>> Two rolls of twine (you can keep the color the same or you can use two diverse ones!) of 10 yards each. (I purchased these specific ones in Target, in the dollar section!)
>> Scissors
>> Yarn sewing needle
Crochet Abbreviations:
SC= single crochet
HDC= half double crochet
SS= slip stitch
CH= chain
TO= turn over
STS = stitches
Left to Right:
>> CH 14 connect the last ST to the very first ST
We will work in rounds.
>> Row 1: HDC or SC in all of the STS

Note: Using the less than half an inch of the twine, you will sew the bottom of the pouch.
Continue HDC or SC from Row 1 to Row 11, or to the very end of the twine.
You will connect the next color, (if you choose) to continue on from Row 11 to Row 22.
Once completed, you will cut a bit of string to utilize as a draw string for the pouch.

Happy almost end of the week to ya! Here is my latest crochet design from last weeks', "What's on my hook." As I stated before, this skirt was entirely inspired by music festivals and seeing that Coachella officially ended this past weekend. Who says, you can't keep the spirit of the fashion experience throughout your everyday life?
From that feeling, spawned this high low ruffle esque crochet skirt, with an elastic band. Super breezy and beyond comfortable, I can't wait to wear it more during the summer days. I believe with the next design I might make it a bit more longer in the back, though I do have a bad tendency of stepping over everything that is maxi in my wardrobe. I'm short, it's expected.
