DIY // The Faux Fur Crochet Neck Warmer! Free Pattern.

Hello there and Happy Tuesday to ya! It's been getting pretty chill here in the mornings which has heavily inspired this free tutorial. I love crocheting with faux fur yarn, to be honest, I was a bit wary of creating with it at first, but the outcome of the warmth it brings, is quite worth it!

Crochet Hook>> 15.50MM //  Craft Scissors  // Yarn Sewing Needle // 

  Yarn used>>1 Skein [faux fur] Bulky

  Stitch guide:    HDC= half double crochet// SC=single crochet// DC=double crochet// SS= slip stitch //ST(S)= stitch(es)// CH= chain R[row]= Round

Note: You will be working in rounds! 

STEP 1// To start the round.

 CH31

Connect the last ST, to the very first ST. 

 RND1-RND2: HDC into all of the STS for both of the rounds, at the end of each round, connect to continue work by SS.

 RND3: HDC into the first ST, once, CH 1, Skip 1 ST, HDC into the following ST...[*Repeat method until the very end of the Round, at the end of the round, SS to continue work.]

RND4-RND5: HDC into all of the STS for both of the rounds, at the end of each round, connect to continue work by SS.

 RND6: SC into all of the STS for the round, at the end of the round, connect to complete work by SS.

Christmas In July!

Creating handmade gifts is a tradition I have embarked upon for numerous years now and I am very proud of the ability to create an item personalized for those that I cherish. Granted for years and years, I've been a bit behind on completing them way before Christmas Day, but this year, this Summer, I'm starting my Christmas planning ahead of time. No more late night Christmas Eve attempting to finish off that last little handmade project for a loved one. Uh huh those days are gone! 

Recently I have been getting better with my Christmas gift giving as well as planning, though each year I do still find myself waiting to the last moment (I kind of love the excitement) to complete the gifts I create for loved ones. Though this year, in the Summer time, no more scurrying will be had! 

 To assist with the process, I have been making list, deciding who I am creating gifts for, how many and what specifically I will be hand making for each individual. Along with that process, comes the material required for each project. What are they currently into, what do they truly want for Christmas. (I have a long list of requests already!) Organizing each individual into sections, proceeding through that goal minded list, one by one. I'm sure I'll be set even before the Christmas season begins! 

Having Christmas in July, in the lovely hot Summer time, with planning ahead for handmade gifts and discovering handmade gifts from Etsy or from creators like Patience Brewster's handmade ornaments. I believe will create a successful Holiday Season to come!

HandMade: The River Light Crochet Dress.

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! I love the concept of tier clothing and I love the challenge of creating a piece that holds that design. This dress was the lucky one chosen to create to retain those exciting attributes. This dress has been created utilizing basic crochet techniques & stitches to construct something that has an edge to the challenge portion. The dress is very light, the yarn that was used was a perfect match for this design and movement of the dress is truly one of my key moments. It's entirely a project I plan on recreating, maybe even adding an additional tier to the mix!

HandMade: The Ring My Bell Crochet Dress.

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! I am constantly inspired by vintage dresses and this dress has been sitting in my design mind for quite awhile. To be honest, the sleeves are the main reason why I wanted to create this dress. Bell sleeves are such a dream to wear, makes me feel like I drifted out of a fantasy novel and I love that feeling. The dress was quite a breeze to construct utilizing basic stitches to create a piece that is so far, one of my absolute favorite projects. This dress was entirely be replicated to wear throughout the year with minor alterations to fit the seasons, I know it will be in my closet for years to come!

HandMade: The Lively Co-ord Crochet Skirt and Crochet Top.

 Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! This design was brought about for my recent new love, coordinating outfits. I love the notion of having your outfit all sorted together, matching so perfectly. To be honest, I'm a huge mix and matcher (which will be another collection in the near future!) so creating a piece that go hand in hand with each other, would be out of the question. Though honestly, I think it's an awesome collaboration of two pieces that were simply meant to be.

This crochet pattern is an easy to follow, make it your own, longer or shorter design that you can create to your own personal style. Which is what my patterns are all about! I love this concept and I  am entirely not even thinking about stopping here!

DIY: The Easy Crochet Summer Top! Free Crochet Pattern!

Hello there! Wanting to create a super easy crochet top for the Summer, I whipped up this pattern that doesn't take a handful of time to make and is quite perfect to wear! I love overlaying lacy tops over dresses so this top will for sure be a piece I will wear over and over! Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:    
Crochet Hook>> H/8-5.50MM 
Craft Scissors  
Yarn Sewing Needle
Yarn used>>1 Skein Green (Caron Simply Soft Yarn) Medium 4
 
Stitch guide:  
HDC= half double crochet   
DC= double crochet   
SC= single crochet
SS= slip stitch
ST(S)= stitch(es)
CH= chain
R[number]= Row

Step 1
This is to start the top. You will be working from vertically to create the top
CH 61 (or half desired waist measurement) 
R1-R29: DC into the first ST, *CH 3, Skip 3 STS, DC [two times] into the following ST, CH 3, Skip 3 STS, DC [two times] into the following ST...[*Repeat method until the end of every Row, turn work after each Row, at the end of Row 29, the very last Row SS to complete work.]

 Note: You will be create STEP 1 TWICE.

Once both of the pieces are created, for the FRONT and the BACK of the top.
Turn the vertical crocheted piece Horizontally to begin the armhole/sleeves of the top.
Note: You will be creating the armholes for EACH side of the vertical crocheted piece.

Step 2
This step is to create the armholes/sleeves of the top. Note: You will be inserting hook into the 5th [double DC/ see photo] down.
R1-R3: DC into the first two STS, *CH 3, Skip 3 STS, DC two times into the following STS...
[*Repeat method until the end of every Row, turn work after each Row, at the end of Row 29, the very last Row SS to complete work.]

Step 3
(This step is to sew the crocheted pieces together to create your top.) Once both of the parts of the top are created. Lie both pieces flat. Now sew the sides together, leaving the armholes, the neckline and the bottom of the top free.

 Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! I had been wanting to create a semi-maxi crochet dress in quite awhile, so when I came across the color of this yarn, I knew it was meant to be. This dress is absolutely perfect for the Summer time, extremely comfortable and not heavy at all which are two attributes that go hand in hand when creating a piece like this dress. With utilizing basic crochet techniques and a repeating method throughout the pattern, this dress is an easy make and a dream to wear!

Hello there! Hope you're having a lovely week! This dress was entirely experimental, which is my absolute favorite way to create. I had a slight idea of what I wanted to create, I had the dress part down, but as far as the whole structure, completely on a whim. I wanted a dress that was super breezy for the Summer days, but could also be utilized if I wanted to wear a coverall at the beach. It's a super comfy and casual dress that it is quite easy to create and entirely more fun to create!
